This is a 2D (Or maybe 2.5D) dodge em’ up originally known as Agoramania which was based off a prototype called Gettin’ Around. Dodgers is a game where you play as a capsule and the player must get to the end of the level to progress to the next.
The player can move the capsule around using the D pad or left Analogue stick and can rotate the capsule left or right using the bumper or trigger buttons. There is also a button that makes the player move faster. When the player touches anything (literally anything), they respawn at the beginning of the level.
A playthrough of the prototype can be seen here:

1-1: Trains the player to move around the walls and dodge the slow moving enemies that are moving up and down. Initially there were no enemies but feedback suggested that enemies made the level appear more interesting. The enemies here reverse direction when they touch a wall.
1-2: This level introduces more narrow gaps, adding a tiny bit more challenge.
1-3: Narrower paths and gaps are introduced. The player has to rely on the rotation mechanics to carefully move around corners. To complete this level without rotating is impossible. (At least to my knowledge)
1-4: This level contains enemies moving up and down at different speeds, the further into the level, the faster the enemies are.

1-5: New circular enemies are introduced in this enemy. The circular objects rotate around an empty object keeping the same radius.
1-6: This time, four circular enemies rotate around a centre point.
1-7: Six smaller circular enemies rotate around the centre point. This level is slightly harder than the previous level.
1-8: Spinning plus-shaped enemies are introduced in this level. The plus-shaped enemies at the start are stationary and stay on the same spot. The second half of the level have spinning plus shaped enemies that move from A to B and vice versa.

1-9: This level contains a series of walls and the capsule. This level is a little easier than the previous level thus giving the player a breather.
1-10: Similar to 1-9, there are smaller capsule enemies bouncing from wall to wall. It is more difficult than the previous level as the smaller capsules are harder to dodge.
1-11: The player has to rotate around walls to avoid the capsule enemies for the first part. The smaller capsules return later on in the level. Large capsule enemies are introduced to add to the challenge.
1-12: This level contains four sets of spinning plus enemies with walls on either side. These move left and right. The player must move with the obstacles in order to get past the obstacles and not get hit by wall or a spinning plus.

1-13: In the first half of the level, the player must avoid two groups of 4 circular enemies rotating around a centre point. The second half the level contains two groups of four large circular enemies and 4 smaller circular enemies rotating about centre point in the opposite direction.
1-14: Player has to move through the gaps and avoid the spinning plus-shaped enemies travelling from A to B and vice versa. In the second half of the level, player has to avoid more circular enemies. These groups of circular enemies overlap each. Making it confusing and challenging for the player.
1-15: A trigger collider is placed at the beginning of the level. When the player touches the trigger, a giant enemy is spawner and chases the player all the way to the end of the level. The player would have to keep moving to not get caught by the enemy in pursuit as well as dodging all the obstacles in between.
1-B: this is the boss level. The player faces the boss in the stages. The boss drops an item every few seconds. The player can pick up the item and use it to drop a mine. When the boss touches the mine, it gets hit. When the boss gets hit three times, the boss will be at its next stage. The boss has to get hit by a mine nine times in total before its defeated. During the all three stages, the boss follows the player constantly unless it is hit. When the boss is hit, it spins and is immobilized for a few seconds. In stage one, the boss simply follows you and drops a mine every few seconds. During the second stage, the same thing as stage one happens with the addition of the boss shooting three lasers every few seconds. During stage three, the boss performs the same actions as in stage one. Instead of the boss firing 3 lasers, a group of guns fires a series of lasers for the player to dodge while avoiding the boss.
